WWB Receives Largest Single Gift !

BLUES COUPLE SAMMY J AND MS K SHOWIN' SOME LOVE 4 THE WWB! After reading the pleas for help (S.O.S. save our station) and support on many Facebook postings, by the fans & friends and WWB founder, Gracie Muldoon, this Erlanger Kentucky "Blues" couple Sammy J and Karen Russo decided to tune into Gracie's show one Sunday night and take a listen. They were impressed and really moved by the acoustic Bluegrass music they heard and the tunes that were featured on the show as well as the interview of a "live" guest and they decided they were moved and touched by this pure music, too. They were already lovers of blues and jazz, classics and country, show tunes, rock n roll and everything in-between. To quote Karen " Please let everyone know, that we love listening to WWB because it offers the best Blue Grass Music on the Net!" Thanks, Karen and Sammy! The WWB is still here after seven years, because of the kindness and generous support from listeners like you! Sammy, being a serious performer and music lover and teacher of many instruments, himself, decided that he and Karen would chip in to help the struggling station stay afloat. With a whisk of his pen - he wrote a check and unknowingly donated the largest single donation the station had yet to receive in the seven years of its' existence.

When they contacted Gracie about her show on Facebook, Gracie wanted to acknowledge their generous gift, as it came at a time badly needed by the station, due to the last 2 or 3 years, the economy has been in turmoil and leaving online independent streaming radio stations to fend for themselves. So, she asked for their permission to thank them publicly and they somewhat reluctantly, but modestly agreed to it. The WWB had a new friend in the Russos and their love for all kinds of music - was inspirational to the all volunteer staff at the WWB. Blues is their passion, but they love many types of genres, and being true performers, support all LIVE music wholeheartedly!
