For immediate release Evans Media Source Wednesday, January 26, 2011

Born in 1927, Charlie began singing professionally as a teenager on local radio programs in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He went on to pursue a career that spanned more than 60 years. He along with brother, Ira, inspired many country, bluegrass, and pop singers with their harmonies.

In honor of his contribution to bluegrass music, we would like to invite you to a one hour special broadcast on World Wide Bluegrass, celebrating the career of Charlie and Ira Louvin. This special broadcast will be hosted by Ernie and Debi Evans of Evans Media Source Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM EST on http://worldwidebluegrass.com
